Walmart, located at 2000 N Walnut, is the 1st Chamber Business Spotlight for July. The discount center is managed by Ashley Vaught (pictured) with 185 employees.
Walmart was established in Cameron February 1, 1975. They moved to their current location August 16,1995.
Walmart is a “one stop shop” with everything from Auto Car, Pharmacy, to clothing and food. The Cameron Walmart, built in 1975, was the 109th Walmart store ever built in the US. There are now 4,742 Walmart stores in the US, not including Sam’s clubs or neighborhood markets.
