Clinton County MU Extension

Clinton County MU Extension, established in Clinton County in 1936 and in Cameron in January of 2019, is the 1st Chamber Business Spotlight for August. The Extension Office is located at 607 Lana Drive, Suite A and is managed by: Debbie Davis- County Engagement and 4-H Specialist, Mat Owens- Office Manager, T.J. Sethi- Nutrition Specialist and Eric Creason- 4-H Program Associate.

Our distinct land-grant mission is to improve lives, community and economies by producing relevant, reliable and responsive educational strategies that enhance access to the resources and research of the University of Missouri. The 4-H Youth program is the most active and visible Extension program in Cameron through the Keystone 4-H Club, one of the oldest clubs in Clinton County.

The mission of 4-H is to provide meaningful opportunities for all youth and adults to work together to create sustainable community change. This is accomplished within three primary content areas, or mission areas- civic engagement and leadership, healthy living and science.

The Clinton County MU Extension also provides a variety of services from soil testing, TABE Testing, Nutrition, Food Preservation Stay Strong, Stay Healthy and Diabetes Education.
