Prince of Peace Lutheran Church & Noah’s Ark Preschool

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church & Noah’s Ark Preschool, 209 Little Brick Street, in Cameron is the 2nd Chamber Business Spotlight for June.

About 50 years ago, Lutherans began meeting in the basement of a local business known as Beckett’s Gas and founded Prince of Peace as a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, a denomination founded in 1847.  Their confession of faith is based on Scripture alone. Lutheran derives from the reformer Martin Luther during the Reformation said to have begun in 1517.

Prince of Peace is all about Jesus Christ as Lord.   Their motto is Know Christ, Live Christ, Make Christ Known.  “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.  They believe all have sinned and are justified by God’s grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus alone.   Mark Goucher serves as Pastor.

Noah’s Ark Preschool, as an extension of Prince of Peace, serves to strengthen, encourage and support parents in their responsibility and privilege of raising their children in a loving and caring Christian environment.  Their hope is that each child learns of God’s great love in sending Jesus, as Savior (John 3:16). Adrienne Kimball is the director/teacher.
