First Christian Church located at 318 N Pine Street is the 2nd Chamber Business Spotlight for March. The church was established in 1866. Pastors Russ and Theresa Hamilton began their leadership in 2016. Dawn Dorton serves as office manager. Theresa is also the Chaplain and Volunteer Coordinator for Comfort Care Hospice.
The main focus of the church is to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Crist through worship, teaching, fellowship and service to our community.
First Christian Church is a Congregationally led church the is built on the foundation of God’s Word. Worship is held each Sunday at 10:00am and the worship services are broadcasted live on Facebook and YouTube. Many groups and organizations meet in our building, we participate in the Cameron Ministerial Alliance, Cameron Food Pantry, Blessing Box and other community ministries.
