Edward Jones/Joshua Strong, located at 1316 N Walnut, is our 2nd Chamber Business Spotlight for February. The Branch Team consists of Joshua Strong, Financial Advisor and Krystal Youngs, Branch Office Administrator. Joshua started his career with Edward Jones June 5, 2017 and opened the Cameron branch September 13, 2019.
When ask the main focus of the business Joshua stated: As an Edward Jones financial advisor, there is nothing more important to me than understanding what’s important to you. Only then can you and I work through our established process to build your personalized strategies and the specific actions needed to help achieve your financial goals. I’ll continue to partner with you and your family throughout your life, revisiting your goals and risk tolerance, as well as
the strategies we’ve developed to help keep you on track toward your goals.
I have a background in agriculture, construction and the steel industry. These experiences, as well as my current position as an Edward Jones financial advisor, have taught me that honest, hard work is the best way of being proud of who you are. Assisting people with their investments and financial needs is where my true passion lies. As farming will always be near and dear to my heart, I look forward to work every day as a financial advisor, as I am able to work with the wonderful people of Cameron and the surrounding area.
I attended college at Northwest Missouri State University, where I acquired two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in business management and the other in financial management.
My family and I love to walk the beautiful nature trails at the Cameron reservoir and Wallace State Park. When I am able, I love anything there is to do with the outdoors and being active. Hunting, fishing, reading, carpentry and playing guitar are some of my other favorites. I am also an active member of Cameron Rotary Club, Maysville Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Chamber of Commerce; as well as a board member of the Cameron Chamber of Commerce and North Central Missouri Business Facilitation.
Relationships are key, and in our view, meeting face to face builds strong relationships. We meet when it’s convenient for our clients because we recognize the challenging needs of their businesses and their lives.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!
